Yoga Master Zenna Ariel (previously known as Zena Ursuliak) founded Dakini Yoga
in Edmonton in 1997 after many years of study in India,
Nepal and Canada with a variety of great skilled teachers.

Dakini Yoga Classes are offered in Edmonton and Internationally
Hatha Yoga & Sun Salutations Stretching and balance poses (asanas) to strengthen muscles, glands, and internal organs. You will learn Dakini Yoga and dynamic Sapta Yoga Sun Salutations.
Pranayama The ancient science of specific breathing patterns for better health. Especially helpful for relaxing our minds and for oxygenating our blood for better circulation to the whole body.
Mudras & Bandhas These are powerful hand gestures and internal locking techniques to clean and clear energy channels, facilitating higher energies that we access with more advanced Yoga.
Yoga Therapy (Yoga Chikitsa) Yogic cleansing, neti, fasting, diets, massage and energy work. Special yoga health programs are given for asthma, arthritis, fibromyalgia, shoulders and backs.
Mantras, Meditation & Philosophy Chanting improves our voice and communication, meditation focuses the "monkey mind," and philosophy connects us with past wisdom we can use in our life now.
Tantric Buddhist Dances The 8th century "Offering Dance of the Sixteen Goddesses" and Arya Tara, the "Dance of Green Tara" are exquisitely beautiful meditative dances from Kathmandu, Nepal. In the past they were only learned and performed by Tantric Buddhist priests. They bring peace to the dancers and to those who watch. Zena has an Honorary Doctorate of Dance from India.
A Dakini is a Sky Dancer or Sky Walker, from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. She is a compassionate female emobdiment of enlightened energy and when a person is
ready for a leap in consciousness, a Dakini appears to assist in the transformation.
